WE ARE CRAVERS
Cravers Community Garden is happy to be bringing fresh, local, organic food to our town in 2023. The garden is owned and managed by 8th-generation Hopkins County resident, J. Ross. She recently returned to her hometown and her family’s gardening roots.
The primary mission of the garden is to support local families in need of fresh produce. We are so excited to partner with Fruitful Harvest to reach these families first.
The garden will also be an outdoor Learning Center for the extended community. Do you want to learn how to compost? Maybe you are interested in the food that grows best in Sulphur Springs’ dirt. Do your children wonder what type of bird is on your porch? All these topics and many others will be discussed under the tree in the garden!
Finally, our heart’s desire is to build a “community” around Hopkin’s county heritage, share the knowledge of our wonderful residents and serve our fellow neighbors.
I hope you will grow with us on this wonderful adventure!
Sincerely,
J. Ross
